I worked on a welding crew in the 70's through this country. We repaired damaged rail ends and frogs from Hope, Idaho from here to east of Superior. This bridge, heading west, is at the fork of the Flathead River flowing out of Flathead Lake, and the Clark Fork River, near Paradise, once a tie yard and division yard for the Northern Pacific, and Burlington Northern. This area, is perhaps the most beautiful left in America...an experience I charish!
