This should be an SC just because. Wow - thanks for sharing this one - a matched set of stainless steel streamlined yellow and blue passenger cars along with a matching C&O E unit. Beautiful!

Crossing Harpersville Rd at Morrison. The depot would soon be gone. This is now single track, and there are signals located where the phone box is in the background. The location is now known as MP-16.

Great catch. My first thought when I seen the thumbnail for this one and the previous shot was when did CSX start putting out heritage units. Soon I hope.

That third car is a Pere Marquette original, betrayed by its smaller windows and higher corrugations. Those two seven-car Michigan trains were the first post-war streamliners, launched in 1947.
