Obviously, it MUST have happened, but in all my years around passenger trains, this is the FIRST & ONLY time I have EVER seen an E and an SDP40 running TOGETHER ! NICE shot. Now, IF we could just figure out what train this is ?

Coming through Hammond, IN, with a dome car, it's most likely the James Whitcomb Riley or the George Washington, as they were known before Amtrak renamed it The Cardinal. The dome would have been a dome-coach en route to or from Newport News, VA.
