This former Kansas City car is from a unique group of post-war PCC cars, that were custom-built with the larger, pre-war, window style, to provide a more uniform fleet appearance. Some of these TTC cars were later sold to Philadelphia and San Francisco, where they ran in Toronto colors, with Septa or Muni logos. One such car, restored to its original appearance, is displayed outside the Kansas City Union Terminal.
