Great to see such an old photo of Westgate. I grew up in Wakefield in the 60/70s when Westgate had been 'modernised',so it is good to see what it was like in its heyday.Started many a happy trainspotting sortie from here.Doncaster was always popular.. being just down the line.The appeal of Westgate was the awesome lead into it over the very impressive 99 arches viaduct.Gave a great view over the town.
