Perhaps at some point they could come up with a 2-8-0 that could "pass" for a Central Vermont 450 class, then the Edsel would work. A clean Edsel (any Edsel) is quite rare since it was a sales flop, with only a handful of survivors left. Consider that Edsel owners were generally angry about quality issues with their cars. My uncle had one and he was angry about its poor quality for the price he paid for it. It, for example, had a head gasket failure with only 1100 miles on it. So, in 1960, the Edsel was traded in on a Pontiac Gran Prix. (?)

Nicely done Mitch, and kudos to the Valley folks for doing such a nice job on the engine. I never saw a NH steamer, but I saw plenty of these engines in China, and it sure looks more American than Chinese to me now. Nice scene.
