Great pic from another era. Fabulous looking carriages you had then..both the Empier builders and the maroon Pennsylvanias .Very impressive cantilever bridge in the background.I assume it was balanced by water in that huge tank???

The counter balance is concrete, this is Chicago, Illinois and that much water would freeze very quickly in a Chicago winter.
