This was called a TC10. It was an EMD GP9 reengined with a CAT 3516-12 engine rated at 1000HP. A company I was formerly associated with brokered most of these units to industry after retirement and I believe they are still out there somewhere.

Great pic, I think they were designated as a TC10 though.

They were built from GP7s or GP9s from NW. Then NS rebuilt them as TC-10s

I think there was 2 left but one got scrapped a few years back now there is just one I think.
