As a product of the 70s growing up in the UK, the Rio Grande epitomised US railroading. 5 on the point with mid-train helpers passing through stunning scenery? A superb livery? More geeps than you can shake a stick at? Fabulous. Only bested by The E/F family. Thank God DRGW had those, too!!
