Four months? I was under the impression that the aqusition of the Milw was in Feb of '85. I was sent from Shoreham on the Soo over to St. Paul Yard on the Milw side to work in July of '85, so it had to have happened by then for sure.

Gene, You are right about the ownership. Soo Line purchased the bankrupt Milwaukee Road in 1985, but Soo Line didn’t merge it until January 1, 1986. I’ll change the wording in the caption accordingly. Thanks for catching that!
