NYCMan, take a look at some of the other photos of this railroad here and your eyes will bug. There are pictures of trains that look at least 30 cars long! (And it appears that pretty much all those trains have to pass this spot.) One caption implies the line gets a lot of traffic, though right here he looks close enough to pick up breakfast from the home owner.

From my limited observations, the line sees traffic during daylight hours only several times per day. (No weekend operations) It's sole purpose for existence is to move cement from the ESSROC plant in Speed, IN to interchange with CSX at their small yard in Watson, IN a few miles away.
