Fascinating shot. Just out of curiosity, what's that stop sign doing in the middle of the track? How does a train use that track without destroying the sign?

The south / west side of the loop was completely closed for construction. Normal operations don't use that track anyway.

From the discoloration of the track I believe that particular track is no longer in use or it is out of service. The track is rusty compared to the other tracks.
