OK Ian, ya got me!! How on earth is that monster transported, or are we viewing a test assembly that is subsequently taken apart for shipping? And how does the tram cross the train rails with no cuts for the flanges? I'm so confused!?!

I would say they transported as they would a switch. Then once at site, they added the sections. As for the flange-ways, I'd say they needed the long sections to be solid for strength and will cut later, when the crossover is in place
