I wish I lived closer to the NCTM so I could volunteer. Being there in July 2012 for Norfolk Southern's Heritage celebration and seeing the Heritage locomotives and getting to be around all that history was just amazing!! Walking around that old Southern Railway yard was just like stepping back in time for me. I felt like a kid again, when I first got a glimpse of the first heritage unit in person. I admit that I felt as if I was standing next to myself. My wife and I are planning to return to Spencer this late spring or this summer.
