Just a brief comment, but I too can almost sense the power here. Neat photo that elicits different senses when you look at it. Now a favorite of mine.

Very Powerful lines, Tom. Lovely use of back light as well.

The backlit exhaust shooting straight up is evidence that this train is really crawling, and those veteran SD45's are giving it all they got. Powerful photo, Tom!

Several very nice effects in this photo as already commented on. I like the perspective as shot through the telegraph poles & wires which themselves look in good shape. Does anyone know if these are still being used by this RR or anyone else anywhere in the USA, for that matter – and if they are, for what method of use?

Awesome power revealed here! Five units pushing and more pulling...gives us an idea what it takes to push these coal trains over the passes! Love the pic Tom, keep 'em comin'.

I can just feel the immense rumblings of those SD45's and the sound echoing throughout the valley. Couldn't have been executed any better. PCA from me.
