Such a beautiful Locomotive. I was brought up in the West Riding of Yorkshire and in about 1957 I went on a 3 day trip with my School from Wakefield to London. We were hauled by 60015. It made the whole trip, and at that time, my life. Strangely, with a view to today's standards, I used to catch a local train quite often to York and stand on the end of the station spotting the elite locomotives on the East Coast Mainline between Kings Cross and Edinburgh. The A4 Pacifics with the corridor tenders so they could do the trip non-stop, no underfeed stokers for those guys!
