I sure wish BN/SF had used this color sceme through out their entire fleet instead of that ugly looking , too clost to UP, yellow they are useing.

A Beauty! My favorite color scheme of all US railroads! A reall shame that BNSF abandoned it in favor of the new colors! Wish I had been lucky enough to see it here in Utah. As a youngster, my folks gave me my wished for Sante Fe streamliner train set built by the West German model train manufacturer Fleischmann. I believe the dual locomotive set was an Alco FPA-2. As I remember, they built it in four road colors, Pennsylvania RR, New Haven RR, UP and Sante Fe. Had to have
Sante Fe! Don't even know if the FPA-2 even ran on any of those Roads! But I still have, and love my old Fleischmann Sante Fe!
Lovely sky, clouds and snow clad mountains! Colors pop like Fujichrome! Very nice!
