That's pretty awesome. I hiked into Afton Canyon one time when the Mojave River was flash flooding. It was really neat to see what was normally a sandy wash be a roaring river of water. Only saw one train though.

When I lived up on the ridge in Paradise, this was the road I used to travel to Reno and points east. Sometimes during the winter months, the road would be closed. A treacherous river in the winter, and a beautiful river in the summer. Looks like they've removed one of the many damns PG & E placed on the Feather all through the canyon. That whole highway from the time it leaves Lake Oroville heading east is known as The Feather River Canyon. A very beautiful drive from Spring to Fall. Beautiful picture Tom.
