Christiano, I'm sure you've seen the GREAT special the Discovery Channel did about the Carajas "Iron Road" and the inventions that have been created specifically for these great ore trains. What a fascinating piece of work this entire railroad stretch is. (And it's even more fascinating that part of this line, from Açailândia on north, will from what I gather be shared with traffic from the new North-South railroad. What a fascinating time to be a railroad fan in Maranhão state.)

Yes Jack, I saw the documentary and it was very interesting for sure! Without a doubt we can tell that our trains and the entire operating system of the railway are modern marvels of engineering! I'm pround to have that great railway here in Brazil and it's nice Discovery Channel have shown it to the world ;D!
