There's a railroad that needs more exposure - thanks for sharing. Has the look of New Hope and Strasburg, circa the mid 1980's. Hopefully they'll catch up with the times and paint her right.

I agree with Mitch. This is a really nice RR with the state park at each end of the line. Nice people, easy pace, a very relaxing ride thru the East Texas woods. I remember the engineer for 300 (or some else I forgot) telling me that some of the cars used in "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" were stored on the Palestine end of the line.
