Great shot, David ... before I even read your remarks, I was thinking, such a vintage look at railroading in the south -- pulpwood and chips.

Very good chance that those four box cars were loaded with tires from Opelika's Uniroyal plant. Those tire loads, as well as the Uniroyal plant, are as long-gone as the pulpwood in this excellent photo
