Many times railroad photographers (like me) are so interested in only the train photo, we miss some of the details that are so close. Very interesting photo of a detail I would have missed. Thank you for sharing.

The other wheels weren't as interesting from what I recall, but I wasn't really looking for this shot. The shot I was after was the one at High Falls - I just happened to notice this and thought I'd snap a quick photo. The photo of the wheel has way more views than the scenic shot over the falls. Go figure.

Bravo Matt! Nicely done. Sometimes the capture you are after pales in comparison to a secondary shot. Regardless, Congrats on the "finer details" we sometimes miss looking for the bigger picture.

Pretty neat capture. Eh, if you've seen one scenic falls you've seen all scenic falls; however not all Amfleet wheels are created alike.
