I can see why they would keep this one hidden from sight. BNSF can't come out with a scheme that is better than the Warbonnet? Not gonna happen.

What's the reasoning behind the blue paint scheme? How come it's not painted orange?

To answer a few above questions, the BNSF bought or is at least leasing them from GATX/GMTX, hence the blue and white. And I'm guessing it was a lot cheaper to throw on a couple BNSF logos that worked with the paint scheme then to paint the whole thing. I'm sure if it is ever overhauled or has major work, it may get H3 paint. On another note, this locomotive was running around MN, quite a bit in 2011, especially on the St Cloud East Local that runs from St Cloud, MN, to Northtown in Minneapolis, enough that I was getting sick of shooting it!
