That's it I have got to move to the United Kingdom. Where I live now I have to travel 150 miles to see a bunch of cold steam engines on display at Steam Town and most of them require a lot of TLC whereas you lucky people have a whole bunch of beautifully preserved, and loved, steam engines running all over everywhere. I mean just how good is that?

To be honest, we are really lucky in the UK. There are lots of established Preservation societies dotted all over the country, and new ones are sprouting up all the time as volunteers try to preserve our heritage. The larger preserved lines like the Great Central railway and the Severn Valley Railway are turning over millions of pounds a year.

Let me know when you move Dave, and I'll join you! Just look at how those locomotives shine. Being a PRR fan, those Belpaire fireboxes look pretty good too!
