I worked through Paradise in the early 70's on a traveling welding crew. This terminal had a tie yard where they treated ties and shipped them out to maintain the old Burlington Northern. A depot housed the dispatcher and helped scheduling trains through the area. A very beautiful little town, with one gas station and a bar, aptly named the Pair o' Dice.
