Rode the Phoebe Snow as a child. You can imagine how special it felt to see that beautiful observation car at the bumper amid all the ancient, dark green commuter coaches on the surrounding tracks and learn that that I would be riding that train.

To further what Ellis has said, I had the good fortune to ride in one of Phoebe's 2 obs, while it was serving as a Lounge Car in Long Island RR service. They served " breakfast" ( well, coffee, juice & pastry, etc ) on the Monday-morning-only Montauk to Jamaica train. Last I heard, both of Phoebe's obs were being used as Office Cars on Metro North Commuter RR, LIRR's MTA "cousin."
