When you mention Potomac Yard these days, the first thing that comes to most people's minds is shopping. The area has certainly changed a lot over the years, and with the closure of the Mirant plant over in Old Town, the end may be near for the Norfolk Southern's branch to Robinson Terminal (the track to the right) and indeed its DC area operations.
