Iwas FORTUNATE enough to visit this great station in the early 1970's. It was a very intriguing building then, but WOW, what an improvement ! PS: NICE photo too.

A fine photograph of beautiful building. Sure glad they didn't knock it down, but so sad that trains no longer stop here. At least the light rail goes past here all day long!

For a second when I saw the thumb I thought it was Union Station in Seattle. Same shape. But you can't see the great hall from the street like you can see Tacoma's atrium. But maybe you should try Union Station on an event night. Are the trolley wires still there? Oh yes, great photograph.
