This is a great capture back when the Ely local originated here. I'm guessing the power for the local is on the right. This yard and the roundhouse was removed in the late 1980s to make way for the extension of Interstate 35 through eastern Duluth. Love the fresh paint on 185 too!

Great Shot Bill! One of the best paint schemes to ever grace an EMD High Hood Roadswitcher was the Missabe Arrowhead scheme along with Great Northern's Simplified and Big Sky Blue.
