What a major waste of money!They are not that old.Are these the one's with the 4 stroke prime mover?I understand they were not that successful.EMD's usually last almost forever.

These are actually SD90/43MAC's, they have had their 6,000 horsepower EMD 265 motors replaced with 4,300 hp 710-series engines. You can tell by the square fairings on top of the engine hood. The regular SD90MAC's had angled roofs.

Those things never got the H series engine installed. The electrical systems on these things are less than useless. They are a blemish on EMD's reputation. My own not so humble opinion though.
