It would be REALLY GREAT and, no doubt, do-able, to relocate the tower to the nearby Altoona Railroader's Museum, then restore it for visitor's use as an observation point. Certainly larger and more complex stuctures have been moved. It's all just a matter of WILL and funding.

It is always sad to see stations and towers disappear. They are so much a part of railroading history.
