I was there, on year ago, for the Spring Steam Gala, while on vacation. My wife and I went on a UK/France/Ireland vacation and I forced her to go up to the NYMR. She hates to admit, but she enjoyed it. It was amazing seeing SNG, Bittern and Brittania. It had been 25 years since I was last in England. If I can make it again in another 25 (Ill be 58 then) I will definately go up to the NYMR. Hopfeully 60009 will still be steaming.
