No story of the event could be considered complete without someone catching the Huntingdon pace scenes. Cool shot - the passing freight to the right compliments this scene dramatizing the sense of speed and that this is in fact a busy class one railroad adventure.

Great shot, getting a good pacing shot is a real challenge with getting the train, light, smoke, location and no other people in the way. I think yours is one of the best I have seen. thanks

There are so many exquisite shots from this weekend, from numerous photographers, that singling out any as best would be an exercise in futility. Suffice to say this shot of your's, Dennis, has a sense of urgency and rod-rhythm that encapsulates the excitement of big-time, mainline steam. Interesting how the heritage diesels seem inconsequential in comparison.
