I was an engineer here from 1978 to 1981.We ran BN trains as well as our own.Back then we would get 2 maybe 3 blue and yellow junkers, and never make it up grade without reducing tonnage somewhere along the way.Coal trains,we had 6 SD40-2's or C30-7's with 2 or 3 on the rear as helpers to Palmer Lake.How things have changed!
