Missoula, a hub of five valleys, the home of the University of Montana Grizzlies has many memories for me. The outlines of the trail to the "M" on the hill, (mountain to you mid-Americans), and the horizontal marks of the ancient shores of Lake Missoula add to the beauty of this valley. A great place to visit in Western Montana, this engine sees some of the most beautiful country in the U.S.A. I worked on sections south of here and west of here in the 60's.
