@ Dennis - Don't be so gullible! There's no way any of us will ever see a Big Boy under steam and back on the high iron any time soon. Maybe in a few years, though! More info here on UP's web page. Nice shot, Ken!

What happened to it's boiler jacket?

@Jon, it was in poor condition & was removed. UP will be making a new one as part of 4014's restoration to service.

That turned out really nice Ken, course Steve's equipment and expertise goes a long way to assure a nice look. Sorry I missed this one.

Nice shot Ken! Glad you were able to make it out there. Hopefully there will be more sessions like this with the other steam engines in the R&LHS stable of steam giants.
