My techniques don't even come close to HDR techniques, nor is this out of camera. Every photographer has his/her style. Thank you all for the comments!

I think there has been a prejudice against bad weather shots to some extent perpetuated by old film photographers such as myself. In bad weather digital gives a more true rendering of what the eye actually sees, thus we can capture more of these wonderfully evocative images. I am glad to see Railpictures is recognizing the artistic quality of photos such as these. Nice job.
