Fantastic! Notice how these GP38-2's have the grey trucks, fuel, and air tanks. But, the five SD40-2's purchased by the Clinchfield had black on the tanks and trucks!

Funny how the Family Lines and later Seaboard System liveries were not derided in the same fashion as the CSX "stealth" gray. They're pretty much just as "stealthy." Maybe it was the red and yellow stripes (FL) or logos (SS) that calmed the nerves of the foamers at the time. Or maybe it wasn't as bad when the railroads weren't called "CSX," which sounds more like a computer company than a railroad.
