this is the former MKT 66C which was wrecked in 1974. It was rebuilt as a poor mans "B" unit with cab windows plated over and larger nose door for easier access when in consist. It also recieved a 2000hp 16-645 series prime mover during the rebuild.

I think I saw this unit in the early to mid 1980's in St. Louis, MO when the "gentleman" who did all the work at the KATY yard in St. Louis called me while I was at work and told me "Hey this ugly covered wagon is here. You want a photo of it, you better get here soon." I did get there soon but only got a B&W image of it.
