They are surely getting every penny they paid for that GP35 out of it. Was there any other locomotive helping it? Seems like a long train for a solo GP35.

My thoughts exactly on the train tied down on the grade plus one GP35 (apparently) as power. My word!

ZR1fan: They sure are, and yes, this was the only locomotive for the somewhat lengthy 844 local that day. Also, GP35 No. 403 is the former Rio Grande 3039, and I’m sure they used up what they could of the locomotive too! AZ Mike: I’m not sure how many brakes were tied down on the mainline cut. They arrived before we did, and I didn’t happen to notice before they departed.
