I'm not familiar with 'RCE' car...it appears to be a slave or B unit, but would like to know what your definition is.
I always enjoy seeing pictures with the DUP's mid-train. Thanks for sharing your picture Joe.

Think I figured it out Joe...if it means Radio Controlled Engine, then I have.

RCE stands for radio control equipment which is installed in gutted ex F B units which receives signals from a remote control equipped leader. Basically any unit connected to the RCE can be remote controlled.

Nice couple of photos....Anyone know what was in the hoppers? Springs on the cars appear to show them loaded.
