Another name for "no nose locomotive" is end cab switcher! This one is attractive, in my view.

Yes, but if you were to see this engine from a side view, it has a REALLY long front porch making it look likes it nose was taken off (which it basically was) and makes it look different from let's say an SW1500.

But with a "cab unit" switcher, the long hood is usually the "F" end. Usually, not always.
