Awesome, Jon! The composition - top notch, and the timing - uncanny. I'd have giving this an SC even if I didn't like steam engines nor night photos. Bonus for the engineer leaning out and the costumed women - it's so perfectly "staged" yet the plume proves it's not. Well done!

I thought for sure this shot was going to be much more popular, maybe even get POTW. I see it did not and consequently wish to withdraw my remark and kudos which instead, I will join the crowd and seek out a diesel train in daylight to use said comment. Jon - lot's more folks rave about McDonald's latest creation then the steak at Ruth Chris. A shot to be proud of - keep 'em coming.
