Great shot! It really conveys action. The foreshortening of the telephoto shows that most of the CSX main is wonderfully straight, but right at the diamonds it looks kinked enough to throw a train off. Of course that "kink" probably takes place over 30 feet or so, but it looks gnarly. I love the NS signals.

Great photo Micheal, I can also get this type of shot at Attica Junction just West of Willard, Ohio. I take it the "old" 'searchlight' signal keeping the CSX (with CP leader) at bay will soon be replaced with the "traffic light" signals surrounding the diamond, that are all facing the NS line? Time marches on, and "history" dies and passes away to 'modern' technology! Hope you stayed warm getting this shot.
