This is a great photo because it is moody (and well composed). It makes you sad no trains come here anymore, but it remindes you that it was tunnels like this that opened up America.

This is a very nice picture, Danny. Good winter sceen. The EL built this cut-off in 1911. I'm pretty sure it was abandoned by Conrail in 1978. When it was abandoned I think the state of New Jersey purcased the line. I guess they didn't do anything with it.
