Mike, thank you! You see, on the wall above my desk is the 1967 Northern Pacific calendar, that uses this very same scene. Okay, the 1967 consist was a trio of GE U25C's I believe. So, why my attachment to this calender photo? Well, on June 19th of '67, a very young and green telegraph operator worked the day shift at Lester, Washington. My seniority date.
