SOU RWY referred to this "imitation aluminum" as "Suede Gray". I hardly recognize Lula from my 1970's days around there. Looks like new signals coming soon.

Thanks, TL. It's changed a good bit around here, but almost all SOU signals are still in service and should be for quite some time. According to good friends who are heading up the signal project, there is an issue between the FCC and Indian lands so large that the FCC has declared railroads are not to put up any more antennas for the time being. They of course need antennas to monitor the PTC signals, so Ayersville-south will keep its Southern stuff for awhile longer.
