This is a rather ironic photo for me. I was only just talking not 3 days ago to a work colleague who uses Thermite and cutting gear on the railroad. He had a piece of hot metal enter his ear canal whilst cutting some rail last year. Long story short he now wears a hearing aid in his left ear at just 32 years old.
