Interesting how these locomotives both are expressing the description of this photo. Number 12 on the left is "wearing" a "frown" (the handrail on the upper part of the boiler plate) since she has to take a "sick day" - while Number 190 is "wearing" a "smile". (the handrail on the lower part of the boiler plate!) How ironic, and yet fitting. They truly are "living machines" as seen in this photo. Great capture Michael. At least I can see the "moods" of these two locomotives.
