Great photo of a beautiful Alco in a outstanding paint scheme. You must have enjoyed hearing that distinctive Alco sound if only for a short distance. Thanks for posting.

Nice picture but as being a Canadian I have I few thing wrong with it. Number 1 The FPA-4's are MLW's not alcos. Number two the FPA-4's were passenger not freight locomotives. Lastly why is there an American horn on a Canadian locomotive other than that it's a nice picture.

I can never keep track of which locomotives are MLW and which are Alco. I know the FPA4's were not freight locomotives, but it is being used here to pull a photo freight and as for the horn, I really couldn't tell you.
